PA Football News released all-state football teams on Thursday and Friday, and eight YAIAA players made the cut.

The teams for classes 1A, 3A and 5A were released Thursday, with 2A, 4A and 6A coming out on Friday.

The teams are selected by coaches from across the state. All coaches in the state were asked to participate, with over 250 coaches nominating and voting this year.

In Class 6A, Central York senior Mason Myers was named a second-team kick returner.

In Class 5A, New Oxford senior Brayden Long was selected as the second-team quarterback, New Oxford senior Adbul Janneh was selected as a second-team receiver and York High senior Maurice Feazell was selected as a second-team defensive end.

In Class 4A, York Suburban senior Savion Harrison was named first-team running back, York Suburban senior Devante Banks was named second-team offensive tackle, Gettysburg senior Charles Warren was named first-team slot/H-back and Gettysburg senior Austin Heiser was named first-team inside linebacker.

Long and Harrison were the only YAIAA players make both the writers' and coaches' all-state teams.

Central's underrated captain makes 6A team

He helped lead a Panthers special team's unit that sometimes seemed just as dominant as the offense and defense.

Myers scored three touchdowns on punt returns and finished with 297 yards off 16 punt returns. He also finished with 251 kick return yards on 10 returns, with a long of 71. A team leader, Myers also started as a slot receiver and corner back for Central York.

New Oxford duo and York High star highlights 5A selections

The 6-foot-3 Long threw for 2,585 yards, 29 touchdowns and eight interceptions while completing 59% of his 287 pass attempts in 12 games. He was also the team’s leading rusher with 366 yards and four touchdowns. He broke the Adams County record for career passing yards (6,871) previously held by Gettysburg grad Evan Lewis, and tied Lewis' career record for touchdown passes with 67.

Long was named YAIAA Division I Offensive Player of the Year by league coaches and the entire league's Offensive Player of the Year by GameTimePA/York Daily Record. He currently has Division I FCS offers from Central Connecticut State and Marist and a Division II offer from Slippery Rock.

His go-to target, Janneh teamed up with long to lead the Colonials to a 7-5 record and the team's first playoff win in 13 years — just two years after a second consecutive 0-10 season. The 6-foot-3 Janneh caught 57 passes for 1,071 yards and 14 touchdowns — leading the YAIAA in all three categories. He was also a standout safety on defense.

Janneh currently has Division II offers from Seton Hill and Clarion. He could have the opportunity to play college basketball.

Feazell was named GameTimePA YAIAA Defensive Player of the Year. The 6-foot-2, 215-pound defensive end racked up an incredible 18 sacks and nine more tackles for a loss to go with 57 tackles, four forced fumbles and three fumble recoveries. Opposing coaches spent more time game-planning around him than any other YAIAA defender. He will have the opportunity to play college football, likely at the Division II level.

Additionally, Northern York's Donovan Bair was selected as a second-team offensive tackle.

York Suburban and Gettysburg players selected in 4A

It's no surprise the two best teams in Division II were represented in Class 4A.

Harrison rushed for 1,714 yards and 21 touchdowns on 196 carries, averaging 8.7 yards per carry. He often exited games early as Suburban beat teams by an average of 27 points per game in an undefeated regular season.

He topped 100 yards on eight occasions, and went for 324 in a signature win over Gettysburg and 215 on 30 carries in the final game of his career in a playoff loss to Lampeter-Strasburg. He set York Suburban's single-season and career (3,666) rushing records. Harrison was named YAIAA Division II Offensive Player of the Year by the coaches and has Division II offers from Seton Hill and Slippery Rock.

Banks was the leader of Suburban's offensive line that opened holes for Harrison. The Trojans averaged 38 points per game and primarily ran the ball. The 6-foot-4, 255-pound Banks will likely play college football at the Division II level.

The 5-foot-11, 160-pound Warren lined up all over the field for the Warriors and made plays in every facet. He scored 20 total touchdowns and had four games with multiple scores. He rushed for 922 yards on less than 100 carries and caught 24 passes for 483 yards, averaging 21 yards per reception.

Heiser was named the top defender in Division II for the second consecutive season. In nine games in the regular season — he missed the York Suburban contest with a high-ankle sprain — he registered 78 tackles with 11 coming for a loss and three sacks. He could have the opportunity to play college football at the Division I or Division II levels.
